Carrier Assembly

Install differential side bearing cups on side bearings, then place differential assembly into carrier. Install bearing caps and tighten bolts finger tight. Install bearing adjusters by hand.

NOTE: Do not apply high pressure at this time. Just square bearing cups with bearings by turning adjusters in until endplay eliminated with some ring gear and pinion backlash.

Face each bearing in turn and tighten left hand  bolt on each bearing cap to specifications.
