Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Inspect for damage - Refer to: Brake Pedal Excessive Effort 
  3. Ignition/Vehicle - Off - For greater than 10 min
  4. Ignition/Vehicle - On - For greater than 15 s - Brake Pedal Not Applied
  5. Apply and hold the brake pedal. - For greater than 2 s
  6. Slowly release the brake pedal.
  7. Verify DTC C12F9 is not set
    • If DTC C12F9 is set 

      Replace the component: A104 Brake Master Cylinder

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  8. All OK.
