Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the connector at the B20 Brake Fluid Level Switch.
- Verify a test lamp illuminates between ground terminal 2 and B+
- If the test lamp does not illuminate
Repair the open/high resistance on circuit 151 or the ground connection.
- Go to next step: If the test lamp illuminates
- If the test lamp does not illuminate
- Test circuit 333 for a short to ground.
- If a short to ground is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If a short to ground is not found
- Test circuit 333 for a short to voltage.
- If a short to voltage is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If a short to voltage is found is not found
- Test circuit 333 for an open/high resistance.
- If an open/high resistance is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If a open/high resistance is not found
- Replace the B20 Brake Fluid Level Switch.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Replace the component: K160 Brake System Control Module
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
