Removal Procedure

WARNING:

When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

    Mark the hinge to hood position with grease pencil.

  2. Hood Hinge Nut (1) - Remove [4x]
  3. With the aid of an assistant, remove the hood. (2)
  4. Transfer components as necessary.
