Removal Procedure
When installing the water deflector, ensure that the water deflector is securely fastened to the door inner before installing the door trim. An improper seal of the water deflector against the door inner may affect the ability of the front door pressure sensor to detect a side collision. This may result in improper airbag deployment and could cause bodily injury.
Rear Side Door Trim (2) - Remove - Rear Side Door Trim Removal and Installation
Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Rear Side Door Armrest Pull Cup Bracket (3) - Remove
- Rear Side Door Armrest Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
- Rear Side Door Armrest Pull Cup Bracket (3) - Remove
Route rear side door inside handle cable through hole in deflector (1).
- Rear Side Door Water Deflector (1) - Remove
Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Bolt (1) - Remove
- Radio Rear Side Door Speaker (2) - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- NOTE:
Typical wiring harness shown, individual harness may be different due to option content.
Remove the rear side door wiring harness grommet through the door opening.
