Installation Procedure

    Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (1) @ Instrument Panel Knee Bolster - Install

    Attach the mechanics wire to the new hood primary latch release cable (2) and guide the cable in.

  3. Install the hood primary latch release cable handle grommet (1) from the dash panel.

    Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (1) @ Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Retainer (2) - Install

    Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (1) @ Hood Primary and Secondary Latch (2) - Connect

    Air Inlet Grille Panel (2) - Install

    1. Install the air inlet grille panel (2) between both hood hinges.
    2. Connect the windshield washer nozzle hose to the windshield washer pump hose.
    3. Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Install [8x]

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    1. Install the air inlet grille panel extension (1).
    2. Remove the masking tape from the top edge of the service part.
    3. Using a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water with a clean towel, remove any left over adhesive residue from the masking tape.

    Front Fender Rear Air Inlet Seal - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

    1. Front Fender Rear Air Inlet Seal (2) - Install [2x]
    2. Front Fender Rear Air Inlet Seal Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

    Windshield Wiper Arm - Left Side and Right Side (3) - Install [2x]

    1. Clean the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft splines with a soft wire brush before installing the windshield wiper arm (3).
    2. Position the windshield wiper arm (3) on the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft.
    3. Windshield Wiper Arm Nut (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
    4. Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap (1) - Install

      If required, realign the windshield wipers to their respective alignment circles (1) on the windshield.

    6. Lubricate the windshield with clean washer fluid.
    7. Run the windshield wipers for two complete cycles then turn off the windshield wipers.
    8. Ensure the windshield wipers are in the full park position.
    9. Inspect the windshield wipers for proper position to the alignment circles (1) on the windshield.

    Intake Air Duct (1) - Install

    Intake Air Duct Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

  12. Close the hood.
