Removal Procedure
- Rear Seat - Remove - Rear Seat Removal and Installation (Left Side)
Rear Seat Recliner Handle Retainer (1) - Remove
- Rear Seat Recliner Handle (2) - Remove
Rear Seat Frame Inner Finish Cover Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Rear Seat Frame Inner Finish Cover (2) - Remove
Rear Seat Outer Hinge Finish Cover Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Rear Seat Outer Hinge Finish Cover (2) - Remove
Rear Seat Frame Outer Finish Cover Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Rear Seat Frame Outer Finish Cover (2) - Remove
Rear Seat Inner Hinge Finish Cover Bolt (1) - Remove
- Rear Seat Inner Hinge Finish Cover (2) - Remove
Reposition the seat as necessary.
- Release the 2 seat back cushion cover elastic straps and fold flap up to gain access to rear seat cushion cover retainers.
- Release seat cushion cover J-channel retainers as necessary.
- Rear Seat Center Belt Nut (1) - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connector and release the wiring harness retainers as necessary.
- Rear Seat Belt Buckle (2) - Remove
Disengage the J-channel retainers from the seat cushion frame.
- Remove rear seat cushion cover and pad assembly (1).
Rear Seat Latch Cable Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Using a suitable tool, release the seat cable retaining features.
- Release the cable end from the rear seat frame.
- Rear Seat Latch Cable (2) - Remove
Depress the Rear Seat Head Restraint Button Guide while lifting upward on the rear seat head restraint (2).
- Rear Seat Head Restraint (2) - Remove [2x]
Using a suitable flat-bladed tool, slide the tool along the outside of the rear seat head restraint guide (1) until it finds the slot. Push the plastic tab of the rear seat head restraint guide inward and pull upward to remove from the seat back frame.
- Rear Seat Head Restraint Guide (1) - Remove [4x]
Rear Seat Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove
- Rear Seat Back Latch Release Handle Bezel (2) - Remove
Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool to release the retaining tabs.
- Rear Seat Anchor Plate Bezel (1) - Remove [2x]
Reposition the rear seat belt retractor - center webbing.
- Rear Seat Belt Opening Bezel Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool.
- Rear Seat Belt Opening Bezel (2) - Remove
Disengage the J-channel retainers from the seat back cushion frame.
- Unzip the zippers.
- Rear Seat Back Cover and Pad Asm (1) - Remove
Rear Seat Frame Rear Finish Cover Fastener (1) - Remove [5x]
- Rear Seat Frame Rear Finish Cover (2) - Remove
Rear Seat Back Latch Release Handle Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Disconnect the cable.
- Rear Seat Back Latch Release Handle (2) - Remove
Rear Center Seat Belt Retractor Sleeve Bolt (1) - Remove
- Rear Center Seat Belt Retractor Nut (2) - Remove
- Rear Center Seat Belt Retractor (3) - Remove
Remove side shield barrel 60% (1, 2).
Rear Center Seat Belt Buckle Bolt (1) - Remove
- Rear Center Seat Belt Buckle (2) - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Rear Seat Cushion Frame Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
Release cable ends and retaining features as necessary.
- Rear Seat Frame Nut (1) - Remove [8x]
- Rear Seat Cushion Frame Bolt (2) - Remove [4x]
- Release the clips with a suitable tool.
- Rear Seat Back Frame (3) - Remove
