Removal Procedure
- Turn the ignition switch to the On position, engine Off.
- Apply the parking brake.
- Place the transmission control in the Neutral position.
- Turn the ignition switch to the Off position.
Using a trim tool, release the retainers (arrows) from the front floor console.
- Release the rear locating tab (1) from the front floor console.
- Pull the transmission control lever boot bezel up to gain access to the electrical connector
Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect [2x]
With a firm grip on the transmission control lever knob (1), slightly twist the transmission control lever knob side to side, then firmly pull up on the transmission control lever knob. This will unseat the locking circlip.
- Transmission Control Lever Knob (1) @ Transmission Control Lever - Remove
Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Front Floor Console Trim Plate (1) - Remove
Front Floor Console Storage Tray Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Reposition the seat as necessary.
Front Floor Console Extension Bolt (1) - Remove
- Release the retainers with a suitable plastic trim tool.
- Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left Side (2) - Remove
Release the retainers with a suitable plastic trim tool.
- Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Right Side (1) - Remove
Open the front floor console bolt access hole cover.
- Front Floor Lower Console Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Rear Floor Console Bolt (2) - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connector. (3)
Open the front floor console bolt access hole cover.
- Front Floor Lower Console Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Rear Floor Console Bolt (2) - Remove
Release the retainer. (1)
Front Floor Console (1) - Remove
