Installation Procedure
Rear Brake Intermediate Number 1 Pipe (2) @ Vehicle - Install
- Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure [5x]
Brake Pipe Clip (3) - Secure
- Brake Pipe Clip (2) - Secure
- Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure
Brake Pipe Clip (2) - Secure
- Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure
Rear Brake Hose Retainer (2) - Install
- Rear Brake Intermediate Pipe Fitting (1) @ Rear Brake Hose (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure
Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure
- Brake Pipe Clip (3) - Secure
- Remove the cap from the brake pipe fitting and the plug from the brake pressure modulator valve port.
- Rear Brake Intermediate Pipe Fitting (2) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Remove the cap from the brake pipe fitting and the plug from the brake pressure modulator valve port.
- Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Place a suitable adjustable jack under the fuel tank.
- Fuel Tank (1) - Install
Fuel Tank Strap (2) - Install [2x]
- Fuel Tank Strap Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Evaporative Emission Pipe-Fuel Tank (2) @ Evaporative Emission Pipe-Underbody - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Fuel Feed Pipe-Fuel Tank (1) @ Fuel Feed Pipe-Underbody - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
Fuel Tank Vapor Pipe (3) @ Fuel Tank Filler Pipe - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Fuel Tank Filler Hose (2) @ Fuel Tank - Connect
- Fuel Tank Filler Hose Clamp (1) @ Fuel Tank Filler Hose - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Install [6x]
- Electrical Connector (1) - Connect [2x]
Rear Wheelhouse Liner - Left Side (1) - Install
Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt - Left Side (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications
Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt - Left Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Retainer - Left Side (2) - Install
Rear Tire Front Air Deflector - Left Side (2) - Install
- Rear Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt - Left Side (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Retainer (1) - Install [3x]
Evaporative Emission Canister Air Inlet Hose (1) @ Rear Wheelhouse Panel Bracket (2) - Install

Rear Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side (1) - Install
- NOTE:

Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt - Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications
- NOTE:

Rear Wheelhouse Liner Bolt - Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Retainer - Right Side (2) - Install
- NOTE:

Rear Tire Front Air Deflector - Right Side (2) - Install
- Rear Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt - Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Catalytic Converter Gasket (2) - Install NEW
- Exhaust Muffler (1) - Install
Exhaust Muffler (1) @ Exhaust Insulator-Right Side (3) - Install
- Exhaust Muffler (1) @ Exhaust Insulator-Left Side (2) - Install
Exhaust Muffler (2) @ Exhaust Insulator (3) - Install
- Exhaust Hanger Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Catalytic Converter Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Install the left front, left rear and right rear tires. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
Battery Tray Bracket (3) - Install
- Battery Tray Bracket Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Battery Tray Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Connect any harness retainers to the battery tray bracket.
Battery Tray (2) - Install
- Battery Tray Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Connect any harness retainers attached to the battery tray.
Air Cleaner Assembly (1) - Install
Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct (2) @ Air Cleaner Assembly (3) - Install
- Air Cleaner Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Install
- Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve Filter Hose (1) @ Air Cleaner Assembly (2) - Install
Intake Air Duct (1) - Install
Intake Air Duct Retainer (1) - Install [2x]
Battery (1) - Install
Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Install
- Battery Hold Down Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Battery Hold Down Retainer (3) - Install
- Battery Hold Down Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Battery Hold Down Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (2) - Install
- Engage the retaining tabs.
- Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
Body Wiring Harness (6) - Install
- Engine Wiring Harness (5) - Install
- Battery Positive Cable (4) - Install
- Body Wiring Harness Terminal Nut (3) - Tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Engine Wiring Harness Terminal Nut (2) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover (1) - Install
- Engage the retaining tabs.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Refill the fuel tank.
- Inspect for fuel leaks.
- Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
