Installation Procedure

    Rear Brake Intermediate Number 1 Pipe (2) @ Vehicle - Install

  2. Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure [5x]

    Brake Pipe Clip (3) - Secure

    Rear Brake Hose Retainer (2) - Install

  9. Rear Brake Intermediate Pipe Fitting (1) @ Rear Brake Hose (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Secure

  13. Brake Pipe Clip (3) - Secure
  14. Remove the cap from the brake pipe fitting and the plug from the brake pressure modulator valve port.
  15. Rear Brake Intermediate Pipe Fitting (2) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 
  16. Remove the cap from the brake pipe fitting and the plug from the brake pressure modulator valve port.
  17. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Place a suitable adjustable jack under the fuel tank.

  19. Fuel Tank (1) - Install

    Fuel Tank Strap (2) - Install [2x]

  21. Fuel Tank Strap Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Evaporative Emission Pipe-Fuel Tank (2) @ Evaporative Emission Pipe-Underbody - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

  48. Exhaust Hanger Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Catalytic Converter Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  50. Install the left front, left rear and right rear tires. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Battery Tray Bracket (3) - Install

  52. Battery Tray Bracket Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  53. Battery Tray Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  54. Connect any harness retainers to the battery tray bracket.

    Battery Tray (2) - Install

  56. Battery Tray Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  57. Connect any harness retainers attached to the battery tray.

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (2) - Install

  73. Engage the retaining tabs.
  74. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Body Wiring Harness (6) - Install

  76. Engine Wiring Harness (5) - Install
  77. Battery Positive Cable (4) - Install
  78. Body Wiring Harness Terminal Nut (3) - Tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  79. Engine Wiring Harness Terminal Nut (2) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
  80. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

    Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover (1) - Install

  83. Engage the retaining tabs.
  84. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  85. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) 
  86. Lower the vehicle.
  87. Refill the fuel tank.
  88. Inspect for fuel leaks.
  89. Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the maximum-full level with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container. Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
