Removal Procedure
- Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- {Left Side} Front Wheelhouse Liner - Remove
- {Right Side} Front Wheelhouse Liner - Remove
Apply two layers of masking tape around the front wheel opening molding (2) to prevent paint damage.
- Front Wheel Opening Molding Clip (1) - Release [17x]
- Working from the inside fender flange area, disengage the retainers from the front fender and front bumper fascia.
- Front Wheel Opening Molding (2) - Remove
- Remove the masking tape.
- Remove any remaining adhesive residue.
- Remove any remaining adhesive residue with a 50/50 mixture by volume of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water. Wipe the surface dry with a clean lint-free towel.
Front Bumper Fascia (1) - Remove - Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation
Front Fender Rear Air Inlet Seal Retainer (1) - Remove
- Front Fender Rear Air Inlet Seal (2) - Remove
Apply two layers of masking tape around the top edge of the service part to prevent paint damage.
- Using a suitable plastic trim tool, carefully release the air inlet grille panel extension clips.
- Remove the air inlet grille panel extension (1) from the air inlet grille panel and upper front fender.
Headlamp Bolt (1) - Remove
- Front Bumper Fascia Guide Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
- Front Bumper Fascia Guide (3) - Remove
Rear Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Rear Tire Front Air Deflector (2) - Remove
Partially remove and reposition the rear wheelhouse liner (1).
Using a suitable tool, remove the rear side door below belt auxiliary weatherstrip retainers.
- Rear Side Door Below Belt Rear Auxiliary Weatherstrip (1) - Remove
Using an appropriate trim tool, release the rocker panel molding retainers (1) and pull the rocker panel molding (2) away from the body side outer panel.
- Rocker Panel Molding (2) - Remove
Front Fender Insulator Retainer (1) - Remove
- Pull the front fender insulator (2) down and out from the front fender.
Front Fender Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
Front Fender Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Front Fender Bolt (1) - Remove
- Front Fender Bolt (2) - Loosen
Front Fender Nut (1) - Remove
Front Fender (1) - Remove
- Remove the masking tape.
- Remove any remaining adhesive residue with a 50/50 mixture by volume of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water. Wipe the surface dry with a clean lint-free towel.
