Installation Procedure

    Install the liftgate wiring harness (2) through the liftgate grommet opening and the roof panel grommet opening.

  2. Install the liftgate wiring harness grommet (1).

    Install the wiring harness (2) and connect the retainer.

  4. Install the liftgate wiring harness grommet (1) to the roof panel.

    Connect all the connectors of the liftgate wiring harness (2).

  6. Install the liftgate wiring harness grommet (1) to the liftgate.

    {If equipped} Connect the electrical connector.

  8. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel (1) - Remove

    Liftgate Upper Side Trim Finish Panel (1) - Both Sides - Install [2x]

    Liftgate Upper Center Trim Finish Panel (1) - Install

    Install the liftgate trim finish panel pull cup (2).

    12. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  12. Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Headlining Trim Panel (2) - Install

  14. Headlining Trim Panel Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

    Retaining Clip (1) - Install [3x]

  16. Install the sunroof housing front drain hoses.

    Retaining Clip (1) - Install [5x]

    NOTE:

    Install the retainer that attaches the sunshade to the headliner.

  20. Sunshade - Left Side and Right Side (2) - [2x] Install
  21. Sunshade Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Sunshade Retainer Bolt Cover - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    Sunshade Support - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

  24. Sunshade Support Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  25. Close the sunshade support bolt access covers.

    Windshield Multifunction Sensor Mount Bracket Cover (1) - Install

    NOTE:

    Reassemble the roof console if it becomes separated upon removal.

    Connect the electrical connectors.

    Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

  33. Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Roof Rail Assist Handle (2) - Install

  35. Roof Rail Assist Handle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

  37. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  38. Close the quarter window trim finish panel bolt caps.

    Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

  40. Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  41. Close the center pillar upper trim panel bolt caps.

    Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel (1) - Install

    Rear Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) - Install

    Front Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (2) - Install

    Connect the electrical connectors. [2x]

  46. Windshield Garnish Molding Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  47. Align the retainer clips with the slots in the A pillar and press the windshield garnish molding (1) into place.
  48. Windshield Garnish Molding - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]
  49. Reposition the weatherstrip as necessary.
  50. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
