Installation Procedure

With the aid of an assistant, install the liftgate. (2)

CAUTION:

Liftgate Hinge Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

NOTE:
Ensure the clip is fully seated when the rod is reinstalled. If the clip cannot be fully seated, a new rod should be installed.

Liftgate Power Assist Actuator (2) - Install
Install the 2 metal clips (1) to end of the liftgate power assist actuator (2).

Connect the electrical connector. (1)

Liftgate Strut (2) - Install
Install the 2 metal clips (1) to each end of the liftgate strut (2).

Connect the electrical connectors (1) and washer hose (2).

Headlining Trim Panel (2) - Install
Headlining Trim Panel Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]
Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]
Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Close the quarter window trim finish panel bolt cap.
