Removal Procedure

    With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, start at the front and work your way back to release the clips.

    Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (1) @ Instrument Panel Knee Bolster - Remove

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

    Using a flat-bladed tool, release instrument panel knee bolster (1).

    Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed tool, release instrument panel switch trim plate (1).

  9. Instrument Panel Switch Trim Plate (1) - Remove
  10. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  11. Extend the steering column to its furthest point to allow the instrument panel steering column upper trim cover to clear the instrument panel.

    With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Instrument Panel Trim Plate Strap Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  15. Instrument Panel Instrument Cluster Hood (2) - Remove

    With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  18. Instrument Panel Bolt Cover - Right Side (1) - Remove
  19. Instrument Panel Bolt Cover - Left Side (1) - Remove

    Driver Information Display Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]

    Driver Information Display (1) - Remove

  22. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    Using a small plastic trim tool, separate the instrument panel steering column upper trim cover (1) from the instrument panel steering column lower trim cover.

    Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique Bolt (1) - Remove

  25. Release the retainers with a suitable plastic trim tool.

    Using a flat-bladed tool, release instrument panel center trim plate applique (1).

  28. Instrument Panel Center Trim Plate Applique (1) - Remove
  29. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    Heater and Air Conditioning User Interface Control Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  31. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

    Using a flat-bladed tool, release instrument panel trim plate applique (1).

  35. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique - Right Side (1) - Remove
  36. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, start at the front and work your way back to release the clips.

    Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

    Open the instrument panel compartment door.

  42. Instrument Panel Compartment Door (2) @ Instrument Panel Compartment Door Dampener (1) - Disconnect

    Lift the instrument panel compartment door (1) up using a suitable tool and take the instrument panel compartment door (1) out from the instrument panel compartment.

    Using a flat-bladed tool, release instrument panel accessory bezel (1).
