Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
Verify no other DTCs are set.
- If other DTCs are set
  Diagnose other DTCs first. Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set
If applicable Perform the scan tool control function: Display Test Control
Verify the P53 Driver Information Display illuminates all indicators and / or displays.
- If the P53 Driver Information Display does not illuminate all indicators and / or displays properly
  Replace the component: P53 Driver Information Display
- Go to next step: If the P53 Driver Information Display illuminates all indicators and / or displays properly
Verify the displayed speedometer value matches vehicle speed.
- If not the specified state
  Replace the component: P53 Driver Information Display
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Verify the odometer increments appropriately while driving vehicle.
- If the parameter value does not increment
  Replace the component: P53 Driver Information Display
- If the parameter displays the following: - -
1. Verify the scan tool parameter: Odometer Lock Status @ A11 Radio = Inactive
  - If the parameter displays the following: Inactive
    Refer to: Circuit / System Testing A
  - Go to next step: If the parameter displays the following: Active
    Go to next step: Refer to: Circuit / System Testing B
- Go to next step: If the parameter value increments
All OK.
