2017 NQF/NQG- Interim Model Year Design Change - DT - 51204 - New Design Case Separating Tool
For 2017MY super heavy duty NQF/NQG transfer cases with diesel engine and Alison transmission, one pair of the transfer case case-half separating flanges have been removed to address in-vehicle packaging concerns.
With the removal of the case separating flanges, a new design tool has been developed. DT - 51204 Case Separating Tool has been created to assist the technician when performing disassembly of the transfer case. The new design tool is to be used in conjunction with GE-02619-A Slide Hammer when separating the case halve.
