Rear Propeller Shaft Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

CAUTION:
When removing the propeller shaft, do not attempt to remove the shaft by pounding on the yoke ears or using a tool between the yoke and the universal joint. If the propeller shaft is removed by using such means, this may lead to premature failure of the joint.

Propeller Shaft (1) - Remove
Support the transmission with a suitable jack.

Remove the wiring harness (2) from the 3 wiring harness retainers (1) and reposition the wiring harness as necessary.

Transmission Mount Nut (1) - Remove
Transmission Support Crossmember Nut (2) - Remove [4x]
Transmission Support Crossmember Bolt (3) - Remove [4x]

Transmission Mount Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Transmission Mount (2) - Remove

Automatic Transmission Case Extension Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]
Automatic Transmission Case Extension (2) - Remove
Automatic Transmission Case Extension Seal (3) - Remove and DISCARD
Automatic Transmission Case Extension Seal- Lube Oil (4) - Remove and DISCARD

Assemble the following tools to the transmission:
- DT-22912-B Split Plate Bearing Puller (1)
- GE-8433-1 Puller Bar (2)
- DT-50802 Threaded Rod Kit (3)
Propeller Shaft Oil Seal Sleeve (4) - Remove and DISCARD
