Installation Procedure

    Automatic Transmission Case Extension Seal (3) - Install NEW

  2. Lubricate the inner diameter of the transmission output shaft seal with NEW transmission fluid prior to installing the automatic transmission case extension. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
  3. Automatic Transmission Case Extension (2) - Install
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Automatic Transmission Case Extension Bolt (1) - Install and tighten in sequence [6x] - Fastener Specifications
  5. Transfer Case Assembly - Install -, or Transfer Case Assembly Replacement (LM2 - F47) - NPO , or Transfer Case Assembly Replacement (LM2 & F47) - NPO
  6. If necessary, check the transmission fluid level and condition. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check
