Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Sensor Supply Circuit Status = Okay
- If not the specified state

- Go to next step: If the specified state
- If not the specified state
- Engine - Running
- Transmission - Park
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Input Shaft Speed Sensor = Engine Speed - The value should change smoothly and gradually as the engine speed is increased and decreased.
- If not the specified value
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified value
- If not the specified value
- Drive Wheels - Blocked
- Parking Brake - Applied
- Transmission - Reverse
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Input Shaft Speed Sensor = 0 RPM
- If not the specified state

- Go to next step: If the specified state
- If not the specified state
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
