Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P163A, P163B is not set.
- If DTC P163A, P163B is set
Refer to: DTC P0090-P0092, P00C9, P00CA, P10E6-P10E8, P10EA, P163A, P163B, P2294-P2296, or P233A-P233C
- Go to next step: If DTC P163A, P163B is not set
- If DTC P163A, P163B is set
- Verify there are no DTCs set related to the following component/system:
- B47B Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
- G12 Fuel Pump
- K111 Fuel Pump Power Control Module
- Q18A Fuel Pressure Regulator 1 - Control Circuit
- Q18B Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 - Control Circuit
- Q18C Fuel Pressure Regulator 3 - Control Circuit
- If a related DTC is set
- Go to next step: If a related DTC is not set
- Engine - Idling
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Fuel Pressure Sensor = 370 to 450 kPa (54 to 65 PSI)
- If less than 370 kPa (54 PSI)
Refer to: Fuel System Diagnosis
- If greater than 450 kPa (65 PSI)
Refer to: Fuel Return System Diagnosis
- Go to next step: If between 370 and 450 kPa (54 and 65 PSI)
- If less than 370 kPa (54 PSI)
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
