  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Verify a condition does not exist with the component:
    • Linkage@M103 Turbocharger Vane Position Actuator - Binding or Sticking/Debris/Dirt/Interference with other components or objects /Loose/Modified/Visible Damage/Worn
    • Variable Geometry Turbocharger Actuator Lever@Turbocharger - Binding or Sticking/Debris/Dirt/Loose/Modified/Visible Damage/Worn
    • If a condition exists 

      Repair or replace as necessary

    • Go to next step: If no condition exists 
  3. Test or replace the component: Variable Geometry Turbocharger Actuator Replacement - M103 Turbocharger Vane Position Actuator
