Installation Procedure

  1. Feed the exhaust gas recirculation temperature sensor through the turbocharger heat shield.

    Turbocharger Heat Shield (1) - Reposition

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

    Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler Temperature Sensor (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Turbocharger Heat Shield Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  5. Turbocharger Heat Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Engage the exhaust gas recirculation cooler temperature sensor retainers.

  7. Connect the exhaust gas recirculation cooler temperature sensor electrical connector (1).
