With Scan Tool

  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode & Engine - Off
  2. Select: Module Diagnostics
  3. Select: [K20] Engine Control Module
  4. Select: Configuration/Reset Functions
  5. Select: Engine Oil Life Reset
  6. Follow the instructions on the scan tool.The procedure will complete within 10 s

    Verify the scan tool parameter: Engine Oil Life Remaining = 100%

    • If not the specified value 

      Repeat the procedure starting at step 1

    • Go to next step: If the specified value 
  7. All OK.
