Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P227B, P227C, P227D, P227E, U060F, U1319, U1346 is not set.
- If only DTC P227B, P227C, P227D, P227E is set
Replace the component: B75 Mass Airflow Sensor
- If DTC U060F, U1319, U1349 is set and other DTCs are set
Refer to: DTC P0102, P0103, U060F, or U1319
- Go to next step: If no DTC is set
- If only DTC P227B, P227C, P227D, P227E is set
- Verify the scan tool parameter: BARO Sensor 2 = The value should be within the range listed in the table: Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure
- If not in the specified range
Replace the component: B75 Mass Airflow Sensor
- Go to next step: If in the specified range
- If not in the specified range
- Verify the scan tool parameter: DTC Display
Perform the action while monitoring the parameter:
- Wiggle the harness and connector(s): B75 Mass Airflow Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector(s): K20 Engine Control Module
- If the DTC sets
Repair as necessary - Wiring/Terminal(s)/Electrical Connector(s)
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Repeat the procedure starting at step 2
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
