Circuit/System Verification

- Engine - Idling
- Perform the scan tool control function: Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve - Increase & Decrease
Perform the action while monitoring the parameter:
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit High Test Status = Not Run or Okay
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit Low Test Status = Not Run or Okay
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit Open Test Status = Not Run or Okay
- Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Control Circuit Shorted Test Status = Not Run or Okay
- If not the specified state
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified state
- Perform the scan tool control function: Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve - Increase & Decrease
Perform the action while monitoring the parameter: Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Position Variance
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Position Variance = Less than 10%
- If 10% or greater
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If less than 10%
- If 10% or greater
- Ignition Off - For greater than 1 min
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve Position Variance = Less than 10%
- If 10% or greater
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If less than 10%
- If 10% or greater
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
