Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (9C1/5W4) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Steel Wheel) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Aluminum Wheel)
Front Disc Brake Pad Pin (1) - Remove [2x]
Front Brake Hose Fitting (1) - Remove
- Front Brake Washer (2) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
- Front Brake Hose (3) @Front Brake Caliper - Remove
- Plug the brake hose outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Plug the front brake caliper inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Front Brake Caliper Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Front Brake Caliper (1) - Remove
Front Disc Brake Inner Pad (1) - Remove
Front Disc Brake Outer Pad (1) - Remove
Front Disc Brake Pad Retaining Spring (1) - Remove
- Transfer components as necessary.
