Circuit/System Description

The liftgate latch has a bi-directional motor for the cinch or unlatch operations, the rear gate module controls the cinch and unlatch operation through the control circuits by supplying power and ground in the appropriate polarity to the control circuits which will cause the liftgate latch to perform the cinch or release function. When the control circuits are not active they are disconnected from power and ground and will have a floating voltage.
