Removal Procedure

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Front Seat- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x] - Front Seat Removal and Installation

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  3. Front Floor Console Lower Applique- Left Side (1) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    NOTE:

    Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool.

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel Bolt Access Hole Cover (1) - Remove

  7. Front Floor Console Extension Bolt (2) - Remove
  8. Front Floor Console Extension Panel- Left Side (3) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  10. Front Floor Console Bolt Access Hole Cover- Left Side (1) - Remove

    Slide the armrest back to better access the retainers.

  12. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  23. Front Floor Console Bolt Access Hole Cover- Right Side (1) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  25. Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.
  26. Front Floor Rear Console Side Trim Panel- Right Side (1) - Remove

    Front Floor Console Rear Cup Holder Liner (1) - Remove

  28. Front Floor Console Cup Holder Bolt (2) - Remove
  29. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  30. Front Floor Console Rear Cup Holder (3) - Remove

    Front Floor Console Rear Cover Bolt (1) - Remove

  32. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  33. Front Floor Console Rear Trim Panel (2) - Remove
  34. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    Disconnect the front floor console bin lamp connector (1).

  36. Going forward make sure the front floor console compartment is in the full rearward position.

    NOTE:

    Use a suitable tool.

    Front Floor Console Armrest Hinge Clip (1) - Remove

    38. WARNING:

    The armrest hinge springs are under pressure. Remove the pivot pin carefully in order to avoid bodily injury.

  38. Front Floor Console Armrest Pivot Pin (2) - Remove
  39. Front Floor Console Armrest (3) - Reposition

    Front Floor Console Compartment Liner (1) - Remove

  41. Front Floor Console Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove [4x]

    Front Floor Console Stowage Tray Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

    Use a suitable tool.

    Front Floor Console Armrest Pivot Pin (1) - Remove

  46. Front Floor Console Stowage Tray Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]

    Release the front floor console armrest cable (1) from the cable union and front floor console base.

    Pull up on the rear of the front floor console cup holder trim plate (1) to start to release the retainer clips and work your way forward.

  50. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.

  53. Front Floor Console Retainer Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
  54. Front Floor Console Intermediate Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove [4x]

    Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.

    Disconnect the front floor console armrest cable retainers (1).

    Disconnect the front floor console armrest cable grommet (1) and retainers (2) with the front floor console base on its side.
