Installation Procedure

Apply sealant to the threads of the backup lamp switch. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (MJK or MM6)Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (M13) for the recommended sealant material.
- Install the backup lamp switch (2) and tighten the switch to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
Connect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (1).
- Lower the vehicle.
