7	1st/2nd Synchronizer Assembly NOTE: Check the 1st/2nd synchronizer assembly scribe marks for correct position. The scribe "2.N.D." must face 2nd speed gear. Procedure Start the hydraulic press operation. STOP pressing before the keys engage the blocking ring slots. Lift and rotate the 2nd speed gear in order to engage the keys with the blocking ring. Continue pressing until the synchronizer is seated. Special Tools J-39371 1st/2nd Synchronizer Installer For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (MJK/MM6) .
