Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P0602, P0630, P064F, P160A, P160D, P160E, P161C, P264F is not set.
- If the DTC is set
- Perform all necessary programming and setup procedures for the control module: K20 Engine Control Module
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets - Replace the component: K20 Engine Control Module
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- All OK.
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- Verify DTC P026B, P05EC, P0605, P0607, P060A, P060B, P060C, P060D, P0610, P061C, P064D, P064E, P06D1, P134C, P2610, P27B5, P3191 is not set.
- If the DTC is set
Replace the component: K20 Engine Control Module
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC is set
- Verify DTC P0685 - P0690, P1682, P16A7, P16AF, P16B3, P16BC, P16BD, P16BF is not set.
- If the DTC is set
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- Verify DTC P0601, P0603, P0604, P0606, P062B, P062F, P08FF, P16F3, P16E9-P16F0, P262B, P30D6-P30DD is not set.
- If the DTC is set
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Battery Voltage = The value should not spike or drop out.
Perform the action while monitoring the parameter:
- Wiggle the harness and connector(s) : K20 Engine Control Module
- Wiggle the harness and connector(s) : X50A Fuse Block - Underhood
- If the value spikes or drops out - Repair as necessary - B+ circuitorGround
- If the value does not spike or drop out - Replace the component: K20 Engine Control Module
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- All OK.
