Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the charge air cooling system. Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LM2)Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LM2)Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LM2 with RC1)Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LM2 with RC1)

    Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  3. Fuel Cooler Coolant Cooler Inlet Hose (2) - Remove and position aside [2x]

    Place a drain pan under the fuel lines to catch residual fuel.

  5. Fuel Return Pipe (1) - Disconnect [2x] - Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  6. Retainer (2) - Remove
  7. Fuel Return Pipe (3) - Reposition

    Fuel Cooler Support Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  9. Fuel Cooler Bolt (2) - Remove
  10. Fuel Cooler (3) - Remove

    Fuel Cooler Support Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove

  12. Fuel Cooler Bolt (2) - Remove
  13. Fuel and Evaporative Emission Component Bracket (3) - Remove
