Installation Procedure

    Front End Upper Tie Bar (1) - Install

  2. Connect the wiring harness retainers and position the harness as necessary.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Front End Upper Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Front End Upper Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front End Upper Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  8. Dual Horn (2) - Install
  9. Horn Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle (1) - Install

    Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace@Upper Tie Bar (2) - Install [2x]

  12. If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps:
    1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth.
    2. Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive.
    3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the external threads of the components. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 
    4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the component.
  13. Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace@Radiator (2) - Install [2x]

  15. If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps:
    1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth.
    2. Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive.

  16. Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Intake Air Duct (2) - Install

  18. Intake Air Duct Retainer (1) - Install

    Headlamp Bracket- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

  20. Front End Upper Tie Bar Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) @Headlamp Bracket - Install and tighten [8x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Grille Support Reinforcement (2) - Install

  22. Front Grille Support Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Bumper Shutter (2) - Install

  24. Front Bumper Shutter Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [9x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Bumper Shutter Retainer (1) - Install [3x]

    Connect the electrical connectors and install wiring harness.

  27. Install the left and right side outer front bumper shutter retainer (1).

    Connect the electrical connector. (2)

  29. Ambient Air Temperature Sensor (1) - Install

    Front Bumper Fascia Upper Stiffener (1) - Install

    Install and tighten the left and right side front bumper fascia upper stiffener bolt (2). Fastener Specifications

  32. Tighten the left and right side front bumper fascia upper stiffener nut (1). Fastener Specifications

    Connect all electrical connectors.

  34. Secure the wiring harness retaining tab.
  35. Secure the front headlamp guide pin to the front bumper fascia guide (1).
  36. Front Headlamp- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

    Headlamp Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Headlamp Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Bumper Fascia (2) - Install - Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (without Front Fascia Extension) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Front Fascia Extension)

  40. After installation, aim the front headlamps. Front Headlamp Aiming (without Horizontal Adjustment) , or Front Headlamp Aiming (with Horizontal Adjustment)

    Reposition the hood primary latch release cable (1) from the upper tie bar.

    Hood Primary Latch Release Cable (3) - Install

  43. Install the retainer under the tie bar and connect the electrical connector.
  44. Hood Primary and Secondary Latch (2) - Install
  45. Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Intake Air Splash Shield (2) - Install

    Hood Secondary Latch Release Handle (2) - Install

  49. Hood Latch Actuator Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
