Circuit/System Verification

- Verify the correct adjustment: Range Selector Lever Cable - Refer to: Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment
- If not adjusted correctly
Adjust the shift lever and selector lever cable.
- Go to next step: If adjusted correctly
- If not adjusted correctly
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify the scan tool parameter:
- 9V Reference 1 Circuit Status = OK or Not Run
- 9V Reference 2 Circuit Status = OK or Not Run
- If not the specified state
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified state
- Operate the component: Shift Lever - Select each position
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Internal Mode Switch A/B/C/P/S
Refer to: Transmission Internal Mode Switch Voltage - The value should be within the range listed in the table:

- Go to next step: If the specified values
- If not the specified values
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
