Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
Operate the component: S3 Transmission Shift Lever = M
Verify the scan tool parameter: Driver Shift Control Mode = Active
- If not the specified state
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing - Test 1
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Operate the component: S3 Transmission Shift Lever = Forward
Verify the scan tool parameter: Up and Down Shift Switch = Up or Upshift
- If not the specified state
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing - Test 1
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Operate the component: S3 Transmission Shift Lever = Rearward
Verify the scan tool parameter: Up and Down Shift Switch = Down or Downshift
- If not the specified state
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing - Test 1
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Operate the component: S2L Transmission Manual Shift Switch - Left
Verify the scan tool parameter: S2L Transmission Manual Shift Switch - Left = Down or Downshift
- If not the specified state
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing - Test 2
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Operate the component: S2R Transmission Manual Shift Switch - Right
Verify the scan tool parameter: S2R Transmission Manual Shift Switch - Right = Up or Upshift
- If not the specified state
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing - Test 2
- Go to next step: If the specified state
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
