Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P0300 - P0304 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
Refer to: DTC P0300-P0304
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Cold Start-Up = Yes
- If not the specified state
Ignition/Vehicle - Off - For Greater than 8 h & Repeat this step
- Go to next step: If the specified state
- If not the specified state
- Engine - Idling
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Cylinder 1 - 4 Current Misfire Counter = Less than 1
- If 1 or greater
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If less than 1
- If 1 or greater
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
