Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P0641 is not set.
- If the DTC is set
Refer to: DTC P0641, P0651, P0697, or P06A3
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC is set
- Verify DTC P16E4, P16E5 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Verify there are no DTCs set related to the following component/system: B47B Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
- If a related DTC is set
Replace the component: B47B Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
- Go to next step: If a related DTC is not set
- If a related DTC is set
- Verify DTC P16E4, P16E5 is not set.
Perform the action while monitoring the scan tool: DTC Display
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B47B Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
- Wiggle the harness and connector: K20 Engine Control Module
- If any of the DTCs are set
Repair as necessary - Wiring/Terminal(s)/Electrical Connector(s)
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
