Transmission Manual Shift Switch - Right and Left

The Transmission Manual Shift Switches consist of 2 separate switches mounted on the forward facing (back) side of the steering wheel. The upshift (+) switch is located on the right side and the downshift (-) switch is located on the left side of the steering wheel. The letter M will also change to a number (1 through 8), indicting the current gear the transmission is in or the desired gear that the operator has selected.
The Transmission Manual Shift Switch - Right and Left signals are hard wire and interface with the Body Control Module. The upshift and downshift commands are sent out on the serial data line from the Body Control Module to the Transmission Control Module and Engine Control Module.
