Removal Procedure

- Remove the automatic transmission range selector lever. Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Replacement
- Remove the control valve body. Control Valve Body Replacement
Remove and DISCARD the manual shift detent lever hub pin (3).
- Remove and DISCARD the manual shift shaft pin (1).
- Remove the manual shift shaft (2).
- Remove or reposition the manual shift shaft position switch as necessary.
Disconnect the park pawl actuator rod (2) from the manual shift shaft position switch (1).
