Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the propeller shaft transmission flange. Propeller Shaft Transmission Flange Replacement (with LGX)

    NOTE:

    Do not scrape or gouge the case extension housing while removing the output shaft seal.

    Use the J-6125-B  Slide Hammer and J-36825  Output Shaft Seal Remover to remove and DISCARD the propeller shaft transmission seal (1) from the case extension housing.
