Removal Procedure

    Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable Lever (5) - Remove - Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable Lever Replacement

    Remove the automatic transmission range selector lever cable retainer bracket bolt (4) and remove the bracket (5).

  3. Remove the automatic transmission range selector lever cable from the automatic transmission range selector lever cable bracket.
  4. Remove the 2 automatic transmission range selector lever cable retainer bolts (7) from the transmission crossmember.

    Remove the automatic transmission range selector lever cable guide nut (1).

  6. Remove the front floor console. Front Floor Console Replacement

    NOTE:

    Mark the orientation of the grommet to the floor panel for installation.

    Remove the grommet and cable (1) from the floor panel.

  8. Remove the automatic transmission range selector lever cable bracket bolt (3).
  9. Slide the automatic transmission range selector lever cable retainer rearward (5) and remove the automatic transmission range selector lever cable from the transmission control base.
  10. Disconnect the automatic transmission range selector lever cable terminal (6) from the shift lever pin (7).
  11. Remove the automatic transmission range selector lever cable (2) from the vehicle.
