Installation Procedure

Apply a liberal amount of lubricant to the pivot pocket, roller and valve slot areas of the hydraulic valve lash adjusters and the dual feed hydraulic valve lash adjusters. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

NOTE:

If the hydraulic valve lash adjusters or dual feed hydraulic valve lash adjusters are being reused you must put them back in their original locations.

Ensure the hydraulic valve lash adjusters and the dual feed hydraulic valve lash adjusters are fully seated in position.

NOTE:

The rounded head end of the valve rocker switching arm goes on the dual feed hydraulic valve lash adjuster while the flat end goes on the valve tip.
The valve rocker switching arm must be positioned squarely on the valve tip so that the full width of the roller will completely contact the camshaft lobe.

Valve Rocker Switching Arm (1) - Install [4x]

NOTE:

The rounded head end of the valve rocker arm goes on the hydraulic valve lash adjuster while the flat end goes on the valve tip.
The valve rocker arm must be positioned squarely on the valve tip so that the full width of the roller will completely contact the camshaft lobe.
