Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- NOTE:
- Do not stroke/cycle the adjusters without oil in the lower pressure chamber.
- Do not allow the adjusters to tip over, plunger down, after the oil fill.
Fill the adjusters with clean engine oil. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Lubricate the adjusters bores in the cylinder head with clean engine oil.
- Hydraulic Valve Lash Adjuster (2) - Install [8x]
- Dual Feed Hydraulic Valve Lash Adjuster (1) - Install [4x]
- Apply a liberal amount of lubricant to the pivot spheres on the adjusters.
Valve Rocker Arm (1, 2) - Install [12x] - Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Left Side
- Camshaft-Left Side - Install - Camshaft Replacement - Left Side
