Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Engine front cover not shown for clarity.

  1. Collapse the oil pump timing chain tensioner (3) by hand.
    2. NOTE:

    Align the flat on the sprocket with the flat on the oil pump drive shaft.

  2. Install the oil pump sprocket (2) and oil pump timing chain (4) onto the oil pump shaft.
  3. Oil Pump Drive Bolt (1) - Install NEW and tighten
    1. First Pass: 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass: 110 degrees
  4. Oil Pan - Install - Oil Pan Replacement
