Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Transfer components as necessary.
- Intake Manifold Seal - Install NEW

Intake Manifold (1) - Install
- Intake Manifold Bolt (2) - Install and tighten in sequence [8x] 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
- Engine Rear Noise Shield (4) - Install
- Fuel Pipe Shield (5) - Install
- Fuel Pipe Shield Bolt (6) - Install and tighten10 N.m (89 lb in)
- Fuel Pipe Shield Bolt (7) - Install and tighten [2x] 10 N.m (89 lb in)
- Connect the electrical connectors.
- Connect the EVAP purge tube. Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Attach the positive crankcase ventilation tube (3) to the intake manifold.
Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (2) - Install - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
WARNING:
The noise cancelling foam component MUST be replaced if it has been exposed to engine fluids. Failure to replace the noise canceling foam component that has been exposed to engine fluids may result in an engine fire resulting in catastrophic engine damage, and possible injury or death.
