When to Perform the Procedure

Perform this procedure when the following component has been serviced:

NOTE:

If the Engine Oil Life Monitor is reset due to a control module K20 replacement, advise the customer. The customer has 2 options:

Change the engine oil and filter.
Determine when the last engine oil change occurred. Monitor the vehicle mileage and change the engine oil and filter at the next recommended service interval.
