Crankshaft Removal

Remove the crankshaft bearing cap side bolts (1 and 2).
- Remove the crankshaft bearing cap outer bolts (3).
- Remove the crankshaft bearing cap inner bolts (4).
Mark the crankshaft bearing caps (1) to ensure they go back into same location.
- Remove the crankshaft bearing caps (1) using the EN-6125-1B Slide Hammer Adapter (2) and EN-49102 Crankshaft Bearing Cap Remover (3).
Using two hands, lift the crankshaft (1) straight up from the engine block.
- Place the crankshaft in a secure place.
Remove the crankshaft key (1) from the nose of the crankshaft, if damaged.
