Lower Oil Pan Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
1	Lower Oil Pan Bolt [2x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Lower Oil Pan Bolt [15x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
3	Lower Oil Pan CAUTION: Always replace the used oil pan with a new oil pan. The lower oil pan becomes damaged during removal and oil leaks may occur if it is not replaced with a new oil pan. Procedure Install a NEW oil pan. Apply a 2.25 mm bead of sealer on the level part of the flange around the perimeter of the oil pan. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers . NOTE: The lower crankcase surface must be free of contamination prior to applying the sealer. The oil pan must be fastened to final torque specification within 60 minutes of applying the sealer.
