Installation Procedure

Lubricate the master cylinder reservoir seals with GM approved brake fluid from a clean, sealed, brake fluid container.

NOTE:
Ensure the reservoir seals are fully seated in the master cylinder.

Install the 2 master cylinder reservoir seals (1).

NOTE:
Ensure the master cylinder reservoir is fully seated in the master cylinder.

Firmly and squarely press the master cylinder reservoir (1) into the master cylinder.

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the master cylinder reservoir bolt (1) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
If equipped, connect the clutch master cylinder feed hose.
