Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Base, Uplevel) , or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (ZL1) , or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (SS)
  2. Use a grease pencil to mark the location of the hood latch before removing the bolts.
1 Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt [2x]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2 Hood Primary and Secondary Latch

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the release cable from the hood primary latch.
  2. Align the hood primary and secondary latch if necessary.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
