Installation Procedure

NOTE:
It is necessary to attach the two components prior to installation to insure proper connection of the retaining tabs. The tabs of the steering column upper trim cover are weak and can be bent or not properly install to the hood.

Before installing, connect the steering column upper trim cover (1) to the instrument panel instrument cluster hood (2).

Loosely install the steering column upper trim cover and instrument panel instrument cluster hood assembly (1) to the steering column and instrument panel assembly.
Carefully route the steering column upper trim cover over the windshield wiper switch and inserting the tab of the instrument panel instrument cluster hood in the slot of the instrument panel assembly.
Secure the retainers.
